Out of hours medical care
If you require medical assistance when our surgery is closed, please call NHS 111. This number is a free call from both landlines and mobile phones.
When you contact NHS 111, a trained advisor will discuss your condition with you and determine the most appropriate course of action.
Based on your needs, they may provide self-care advice, arrange for you to visit a Primary Care Centre, or request a home visit from an on call doctor. Please note that the extended hours doctor service operates in addition to their regular daytime duties.
We kindly ask that you use this service judiciously and only for genuine medical emergencies or urgent care needs that cannot wait until the surgery reopens.
If you call our surgery when we are closed, you will hear a recorded message instructing you to end the call and dial 111 to access out-of-hours medical care.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in utilizing the NHS 111 service responsibly for your out-of-hours medical needs.
This system helps ensure that everyone receives timely and appropriate care while also allowing our doctors to provide high-quality care during regular surgery hours.
